B1 Sin separates us from God

C1 The Jews have sinned even though they had the law.

C2 Gentiles have sinned having no law.

C3 Matthew 15:18-20 WPNT But the things coming out of the mouth [actually] come from the heart; those are the things that defile the man.  Because out of the heart proceed malignant thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.  These are the things that defile the man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.”

B2 Both Jew and Gentile believers in Messiah Jesus are reconciled to God.

C1 We, both, were enemies of God. We were lawbreakers in thoughts, desires, words, and deeds. Romans 5:8-10 NKJV But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

C2 Now, we are no longer enemies. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 WPNT And that ‘all’ is from the God who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and given us the ministry of the reconciliation,  namely that in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, including committing to us the message of this reconciliation.

C3 Reconciliation brings

D1 Peace with God: Romans 5:1 WPNT Therefore, having been justified by faith, let us be at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

D2 Access to God for prayer: Romans 5:2 WPNT through whom also we have had the access, by the Faith, into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

D3 God adopts us as His sons and daughters: 1 John 3:1-2 WPNT Consider how great a love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of God! The world does not acknowledge us for this reason: it did not acknowledge Him.  Dear ones, right now we are children of God and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.

B3 Psalms 70:4 NKJV Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified!”
